Next up is the tough decision of what length of hair to purchase. This will very much depend on the look you are going for.
If you're wanting a more natural look it is best to opt for the 22 Inch Classic style. Don't worry, this clip on will definitely still give you luscious long locks, just a bit less drama. The weight of this ponytail is 150 grams.

5) How to put in your fab new clip on extension
That's it for the selection process, so let's have a look at how to get that clip on mixed in with your mane.
To begin, ensure the front two sections of your hair are not included, put the remaining hair up into a ponytail. Grab your clip-in and add it to the back of the front section of your hair. Put the clip-in and your hair up and tie it together with your original ponytail and voila!

6) Tips and tricks
Now that you have fallen in love with your ponytail hair extensions here is some handy tips that will help you keep the clip on ponytail looking amazing.

Side Pony with a twist
This look gives you a beautiful easy hairstyle that will make your friends think you’ve been taking hairstyling lessons! Despite how complex it may appear, it will take you less than 5 minutes though, we promise.

For this look, you will need about 6 elastics. Begin with your basic pony, however, starting at the lower neck and to the side. This one can be done freestyle as well to give that tousled look. Once your ponytail is done simply add elastics in, leaving about 5-10cm between each one.You can then pull on each section from each side gently, to achieve the lantern effect seen in the above image. For a variation, you could also do this style with a high or low centered ponytail.
Love Heart plait
Feeling a bit more adventurous? This hairstyle is a breeze with the ponytail clip-in! As we have before, we will begin by inserting the clip on ponytail as you learnt in step 5.

Once all the hair is tied up in your ponytail you can begin your plait. Divide your hair into three sections and wind them beginning from left to right, not too tight. To create the love heart effect, swing the plait to the side so that you can see it. Start slightly pulling out the sections of the plait, top down.
